Description
Budget and mid-range builds still deserve a reliable thermal paste, and Polartherm X-8 from Thermal Grizzly is engineered specifically for that segment – efficient heat transfer without the premium pricing of the flagship Kryonaut line.
Medium viscosity gives this paste genuine durability in everyday desktop use, and despite its low-viscosity handling during application, lab testing shows only minor susceptibility to the pump-out effect – the gradual squeeze-out that happens as heat spreaders and cooler baseplates expand and contract under thermal cycling. Being electrically non-conductive means it is safe to use on both CPU and GPU dies without risking a short circuit from excess paste.
The included spatula makes for easy, controlled application, even for first-time builders. For a genuinely dependable thermal compound sized for one or two applications, the 2G tube covers a single CPU cooler installation with room to spare.
